Tempered Safety Glass

Tempered glass is a heat-treated safety glass that is three times stronger than regular (anneal) glass. If the glass breaks, it will break into small, beady pieces that tend to stay intact for the most part. This will greatly reduce the risk of anyone enduring any serious lacerations or injuries. We recommend using tempered glass for tabletops that are either large or heavily-used tables. By law, all outdoor patio furniture glass must be tempered; Windows that are less than 18” from the floor is required to be tempered as well.
